Wow love everything about this bathroom! Into my inspiration file it goes. Love your mix of classic tiles and the close up of your niche is very helpful as is seeing your tile "baseboard". A few more Q's if you don't mind... Like your square towel bar and accessories. Can you please give me the source and style info for those? Your sink and shower bath fixtures are the same suite? Design advice pleae... I'd love something similiar in one of our bathrooms that has a seperate tub and shower. If you had a seperate shower would you have carried the basketweave floor into the shower floor and if not what would you have used? What do you use to clean the basketweave floor? Love green and I love you cabs. What type of paint was used and did you paint them yourselves? I've been thinking I would add a little color accent with a narrow band of tile, but now I'm thinking painted vanity! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you Debrak for the pics, yes, I do like the Deloren Gray. I found a chart on the internet that compares the colors of Mapei, Laticrete and Custom Building Products, very helpful. I do realize it isn't perfect, but will help me narrow down a few colors. mydreamhome, yes, I do have to drive 60 miles to HD and Lowes, so I will be searching out a few real tile stores in the city and calling to see if they have real grout samples. Thanks for that tip. The big box stores are great for a lot of things, but some are very lacking in knowledge and service. I think it is time for professional help! We just had white subway (rittenhouse) installed with white grout on the walls. And then unglazed hex on the floor with silverado grout. It looks great. I personally think white subway with white grout is more classic looking, but I like the look of a white grey as well. I think it depends on your overall aesthetic. If you are trying to have your bathroom look original like we were, I would go with the classic white. But if you are doing more of a mixed style in your bathroom with modern touches, I might go with a darker grout. You can still see the brick pattern with white, but it is much more subtle. Of course in our case, we were also dealing with a black subway chair rail and black bulnose. I rightly thought a non-white grout would look funny.

hello Jillianfl. Top photo is the one I used to remodle my last bathroom. I loved it and got lots of compliments on it. I'm now renovating a new home, and I have the same concerns about the shower flooring. Did you end up getting some advice? What did you end up going with? Thanks in advance!
