To tell ya the truth, ask a couple experienced Interior-designers!! * When painters & architects start sliding into the realm of decorating, it makes me nervous! * One thing that drives me nuts is customers coming in, AFTER settling on a color-scheme with a decorator, and stating "Well, my painter thinks I should do this...". * Dear God...then what did you hire the decorator for!!! Don't let a painter start another theme to confuse everything! * It'd be like your auto-mechanic starting to appraise homes or something. A little knowledge is worse than none at all!!! * Sooo, let each "discipline" do its OWN work. A Decorator's opinions would carry the most weight with ME anyway! * I may at least try a closely-coordinating color on the crown. This may subtly highlight it, instead of making it "disappear". Personally...I have to tell you, then when I see a window in the middle of a run, I do like to see that decorative board tie them together, so I'd take this as a design yea verses nea :) (Although I am known as the soffit police girl around my place). My plumbers kept telling me I was going to have a one or two inch soffit that had to run the legnth of the kitchen, including the window area, and I said "Nope" get rid of it...somehow they did (perhaps they just cut the pipes) :oP But it's gone. The way your's is though in my mind sounds ok to me. I think the trim idea you've found is a great option :)

:Plantation shutters are expensive and thus expensive to replace. Go with white shutters and then you can change any other color in your space and the shutters will be fine. Also, brown shutters will make your room darker, open or shut.

That's the paint base info. My guess since there's no label/formula is it's White OC-151.
