On my monitor, your floors look more greyish green while the vanities look reddish brown. So, if you go with dark, it should be enough contrast and not reddish but more black or charcoal.

After 20 years of builders beige and gray trends everyone is conditioned to fear color. White is safe. I love your inspiration picture and do believe that you could easily do a dark vanity with your flooring. I do agree that the first vanity is a bit too red, but many dark woods would look great with your floor. z

One other thing you want to consider is how the rest of your home is decorated. You want a harmonious feeling throughout your home. What rooms are near this bathroom and how are they decorated? If you own a lot of white and light furniture having one room with a dark vanity may feel disconnected. If you have mostly dark wood furniture and throw in a white vanity it may feel disconnected.

If the floor is in gray tones, then I think white works better. It's not about being safe. It's about what looks good together. If you had chosen medium brown floors, then you would have more options.

Hi! Im trying to pick a bathroom vanity color.. either pewter which Is a

grayish brown or white. I’m using the floor tile in the photo and the Georgian bluffs countertop in photo. Any help with picking a color vanity ? It’s for a small guest/ hall bathroom.
