Something eating leaves off my plants please help

Something has been devouring my plants. Mainly my pepper plants. I have lost more than 40 pepper sprouts. This morning the leaves on my ghost pepper, that pepper, and red bell pepper are gone. Whatever it is, has also begun to eat the leaves on my orange bell pepper, green bell pepper, eggplant, and okra.
I have tried using SEVIN, for insects, MONTEREY B.t. for worms/caterpilars, and then the other night I noticed 3 slugs en route to my garden so I bought ORTHO BUG-GETA.
The plants used to be on concrete and a few on the outside countertop where they had no issues. Over the past week I have been building my garden on the side of my house where I transferred the plants, Turf is laid down, and plants are elevated on pallets. This is when the madness ensued.
Any and all information, help, and advice is very much appreciated. Thank you everyone.

Comments (3)can you get a pic of the damage? Here's something I am trying right now.. My dats were getting chewed to shreds, from god only knows what..even ate the buds. I threw some (what I thought at the time was pine) Red Cedar Shavings from, my DD's mouse habitat around the bases of the dats..nothing has touched them since. They have leaves now!! lol. So yesterday I went and did it around all my brugs..hoping it works on them too. We'll see. If you have any you may wanna just give it a try for now? I had tried so many things for slugs, nothing had worked before now except picking and smashing. Comments (1)Four Season gardening is about growing in the "off" season, usually in greenhouses or other kinds of cover. You'll have better luck getting an answer in the vegetable forum. Comments (10)MomesqNY, I am having the same problem. I just tore down all my pole beans today and have to replant. This has been going on for a month now. I had perfectly healthy plants and started noticing that entire poles were missing leaves (whole leaves chomped off). Sometimes just the top leaves and then the bottom leaves would be gone the next day or vice versa. The beans were left completely untouched and intact. I am certain it is an animal and think it may be a rat! I've seen a rat running along the fence on that side of the yard several times. I purchased a rat trap 2 weeks ago, but have yet to set it up. I think that is the only critter that is capable of climbing the poles without dragging the whole plant down. We also have squirrels, but I haven't seen them in that area during the daytime. It is definitely a nighttime creature! I checked for droppings but didn't see anything, but I am not ruling it out. Does this sound like it may be what's eating your leaves as well? I'd hate to admit that there are rats on my property, but I am at a loss as to what it could be. Comments (4)If it was mine I'd suspect some sort of caterpillar, snail even if it was nearer the ground. What about the fruit, is that being eaten as well? Odd that you haven't been able to locate something on the tree, maybe the stems, even down to ground level. If there's nothing I'd suspect flying foxes at night.
