Tipping Instacart grocery delivery people?

Apparently there is a lot of controversy surrounding Instacart and their labor relations. For Instacart at Costco, they raise the price of groceries, charge a variable service charge which does not go to the 'shopper', the person who assembles and delivers groceries.

I have not had groceries delivered so have no idea what to tip. Instacart shoppers use their own vehicles and gas. They are paid an hourly wage but I'm not sure how much that is, Costco and Instacart are two different companies, Costco treats its employees well and pays a fair wage from what I have heard.

Costco is about 2 miles away. I will probably be ordering around $100 of groceries at a time, most meats, veggies and dairy. No heavy bottles of water or soda. Probably could all fit in 1 large box or two smaller boxes. My apt is on the first floor, about 30 feet from where they are going to park.

Assuming the service is adequate, what do you think is a fair tip?
