Front Entry Door and Interior Door and Side Lites Color?
Comments (3)We recently painted our front door with sidelights and know what you're going through. What we did before painting was drive thru neighborhoods to see what others had done and that helped us decide what to do with ours. We noticed that some painted them all the same color but others painted them contrasting colors or matched the sidelights with the windows and painted the door a separate color to make it stand out. Hope that helps!...See MoreNeed help with Tuscan Style house front entrance
Comments (4)Based on the way the walls are built, that entrance does not look like it was meant to house a gate. I would just stucco over the exposed part or add matching stone to redo your entrance. The only entrance I could easily find that was similar to yours does not have a gate. I am guessing that you could get a custom gate made, for $$$, but I personally don't think it would be worth it....See MoreHELP - ENTRYWAY/FRONT PORCH NEEDS MUCH HELP
Comments (9)So I would absolutely keep the rug. I would do a cooler color on the wall like a gray green or gray blue. Get a runner to go between the doors that coordinates with your existing rug. I would add real baseboards but if you can’t just paint a 4” wide white band above what you have to fake it. Add a narrow console table with an open decorative front to hide the air conditioner. Paint the door to the house charcoal gray. I found these curtain panels that to me could mimic artwork to hide the vertical blinds. Then add a seating are there. Keep the bench and mirror as is. I don’t have photoshop so excuse my poor mockups lol....See MoreNeed help with front entrance
Comments (11)Yes, the white is awful! We built and designed this house ourselves. When it came to the columns, arch and above it was supposed to be all brick but something happened that we couldn't do brick, so we had to do columns and stucco and this is what i was left with. Ughhh. The color is kind of off on the photo but the roof is actually brown and looks good with the brick. I love your suggestion of matching the gutters with less grey! And the white around the doors is vinyl. Can that be painted? Thanks for the suggestions!!...See Moregroveraxle
