I am in tears right now...
Comments (2)You got me reading about ButterflyCircle. Your link is to a ButterflyCircle blog but there's a lot of other stuff on their website as well. It's for butterflies mainly in Singapore and Malaysia. I doubt I will ever go there either. I love the way this checklist is set up with photos. Here is a link that might be useful: ButterflyCircle Checklist...See Moream i getting warmer? see kitchen pics please help- close to tear
Comments (10)FWIW I don't think a darker floor would conflict with your cherry floor-- as long as the tone is utterly different, it could look great. For the tile the key seems to be to get away from anything pink-ish or orange-ish. But all of the tiles you pick have that tone, so I would consider changing cabinet tone, maybe to something closer to your floor, and then the combo will be perfect. Even a lighter version of your floor would work. Maybe it's the cabinets that are throwing everything off instead of the floor! All of the tiles you like seem to be similar, so I would start with that and work from there. The tiles are lovely, just too pink/orange for the cabinets. Or, go darker with the tile, but we keep suggesting that and it isn't sounding good to you, so there must be a reason! I agree re: the dark grout-- it would look funny with that tile. With a slightly darker tile it could look awesome. Here's a tile that looks like the others you picked but without the pink tone: http://www.crossvilleinc.com/products_color.cfm?SeriesID=3&TileID=28&ref=products_browse Crossville is a fun place to look if you want to just browse a bunch of colors! Good luck-- you have beautiful choices and anything you pick will be fine. This is all just window dressing....See MoreHelp! I am frustrated posting pics, Please Help!
Comments (3)I use Photobucket.com, siging up was free. I log-in to Photobucket then I upload a picture from my computer to Photobucket. When it has loaded onto photobucket, I hover over the picture with my mouse until a little box pops up with links. I click the HTML link and the computer automatically saves the link. Then, I go back to GW (usually I just keep it up on another window) and CTRL-V into my post. --- Not sure if that is enough info to help, but that is all I know! There are some really great tutorials floating around here. That is how I learned. Hopefully someone will post one. Good luck!...See MorePlease help me. I don't know what I am doing.
Comments (18)I might look for a lamp that could move forward on the chest enough (without danger of toppling off) that the shade just hides that thermostat. Place it just a couple inches to the right of where it is now, or move the whole chest to the right a bit. It won't affect the functionality, esp if you use an LED bulb = no heat. Then look for a large piece of art, or a couple of stacked pieces to fill in over the right side of the chest, as shown above. Another idea is a gallery wall incorporating the thermostat: I would trade you those beautiful folded blankets for the star wars lego decor my grandson has decorated my house with! eta: I was just looking at it again and think Cyn's idea to switch the cabinets would work. You could then place the floor lamp in front of the thermostat and just ignore it....See MoreArtist-FKA-Novice Zone 7B GA
