Hi Michelle! Did you figure this out already or am I stepping in too late? The top photo is an older more mature leaf shape, the lower is a more juvenile monstera that has just begun to split. If allowed to climb and given enough light, the lower pictured plant would eventually develop more fenestrations and get that large (also given that it is actual deliciosa and not deliciosa v. borsigiana). Timothy Sorry no variegation there. The color is a little uneven on the leaf.....probably something environmental caused that......but it is not variegated. Variegated sports do show up now and then, not often but sometimes people find them.

Ebay is the best place to find Variegated Monsteras. There are currently quite a few cutting up for auction, I actually have one up myself. I find that most are offered there because the seller can get the best price. There is also a Variegated Adansonii up, but that thing is $$$. Both are awsome plants and well worth the price once they put out new leaves, each one is a suprise!

You really want to make sure it's ripe enough. Here in the much cooler bay area,wait until it actually starts to split open. Before then,we risk it just rotting. I also have the all green and I have picked that too soon before. In Florida you might be able to pick before it splits. Might,I don't know for sure.
