Comments (8)awe that's too bad it didn't work for you guys :( I guess I have an easy to brain wash mind. lol. my daughter too. I watched it and cleaned my desk. Then I went into my kitchen and envisioned it clean too. and I couldn't stop cleaning until it was done. Pretty weird. So that was on Friday, and I'm proud to say my kitchen and desk are still clean!!! I really should envision my other rooms clean but I'm not ready to go crazy like that again. It was weird because I couldn't stop. And now, when one of the kids or my husband puts a dish in the sink, I kinda feel compelled to clean it. I only watched the video 2x on Friday. It worked on some kind of nerve in my head even though it looked so stupid. When I envisioned my desk and kitchen clean I really saw it when my eyes were closed and seeing it clean in my mind made me so happy. I felt like a huge weight was off my shoulders Next thing you know, I'm like a cleaning freak in a semi dream like state. Well that's not what it was really like but it sure didn't feel like it was me. sorry can't find the right words to describe it. I'm sorry it didn't work for any of you, but I'm soooo glad it worked on me. DH is happy too. Comments (10)When I am alone in the afternoon I make a cup of instant coffee. I mixed the coffee in a mug and apparently put the container of instant coffee in the micro. When I came inside about 4-5 mins later I had the most awful smell of something burning. When I figured it was the micro I couldn't even recognize what was melted in there. I cleaned up the mess and scrubbed forever with windex, vinegar and baking soda. It was improved but still smelled when I used it for about a week. It is completely gone now. Comments (16)I suspect everybody who has ever sewn has cut on the seam-line. The aggravation usually does a good job of reminding one to take care next time :) I don't know if it's any help, but I lay out *all* the pieces in place on dressmaker's tracing material. Some folks use flannel and if you make a 'quilting wall', flannel is great, but I started with material and just stayed with that because it's lightweight - and I already had it on hand. I taped 2 cardboard tubes (empty from gift paper) end-to-end making the tube about 7 ft long, and then taped one end of the tracing material to that; everything is rolled up when I'm not actually working on the project. I lay out the quilt to be sure the colors are balanced overall, but a side benefit is that all the pieces are in the right place... forgetting to cut mirror-images shows up right away....See MoreI can't believe this exists I'm so excited
Comments (15)On my phone I can't type. Or rather I can, but then Houzz erases EVERYTHING. When I use voice recognition, it write almost what I say, but I can't edit without gobbledegoop coming up. It repeats the word multiple times.I think with Houzz's issues we need to cut people some slack. Sometimes a laptop isn't nearby or convenient when we just HAVE to respond to a post!
