Help- what do I put here?

Help- this gap behind my sink between my countertop and backsplash looks horrible and is driving me crazy! The kitchen was finished a few months ago and the grout is all gone! What should be put here? Thanks for your help...

Thanks for the responses:) So I should take them out of the little individual plastic bags they came in and put them in small envelopes? I thought it would be best not to touch the seeds so they will stay fresher/cleaner until time to sow. Can I leave them in the individual small plastic bags and keep all inside the bubble envelope they came in and store in a cool dark area until March//April? I will most likely start the seeds in early March. Thanks again, Jeannie :)

I would get a much larger chadelier, put a small walnut demilune table on the handle side of the door with a long mirror above, place a long piece of fiber art on the wall to the left, and get a coordinating rug. The table/mirror will give you a bit of function, and the fiber art and rug will give you texture and color.

Is the FP wood burning ? IMO stacks of firewood are just lovely places for bugs so not for me. I like that look with the plants from Dig Doug I would not plant an ivy type plant there as they can actually damage the brick . I am however curious why that chimney is so huge and in a strange spot. Is this your entry to the house ? I need more context please which means more pics from further back

@J Blake since you already have it you should give it a try. I really like the bench idea and think you should try the one you have first. If you want to use the mirrored console you can add a plant or basket next to it to make it feel like it's taking up more space. Then put a piece of art or mirror above it and add something tall like a lamp to tie the art/mirror and console together. See how this lamp ties together the mirror and the table so the mirror is not floating off by itself? You might need something tall and narrow above the mirrored console to fill up the space.

You should be able to get a color matched caulk that goes with your grout.

The tile installer should have used matching caulk, which is flexible, but he took the easy way out and used grout, which is brittle and crumbled.

Use painting tape to protect the tile and counter and apply a bead of waterproof caulk, using a narrow rip opening to force it into the crack. Smooth it and remove the tape.

caulk, NOT grout...due to expansion and contraction . funny how people are quite often asking this one...a tile guy could leave a little note or tell the customer, you would think.

Translucent (not clear) caulk.
