A visitor to our place in upstate PA.

DD was up there ahead of us and she panicked when she thought she heard someone tapping on the window. The house is back a long driveway and can't be seen from the street. She finally got up enough courage to peek around the corner and snapped this photo of the culprit.

That black one with the white head is a Polish chicken...I always think they look so formal...I guess basic black works well for them! Talk about dressing your chicken for dinner!

PKponder - it's a young turkey. Our house is on 135 acres of woods and meadows and turkeys are quite common - there are a lot of oak and pignut hickory that the turkeys feast on.

Who taught who the hand shake trick? :o)
