need help picking exterior colors! HELP!
Comments (5)thanks for the replies! egbar - I was thinking a deep navy color for the shutters and door. I agree the above color is too cool. The gray shutters are a good idea also with a lighter stucco color. i'm going for a more modern look with stainless hardware and lanterns. so maybe yellow is out of the question. nosoccermom - the grout color is gray. a brown gray is a good idea. its just so hard to find the right one! so confused!...See MoreHELP: Picking blind curtain combo
Comments (9)I love your gorgeous draperies! I'm partial to warm browns! I vote for number two - the darkest blind color. It will offer a greater contrast, matches the draperies best, and will highlight your ebony-colored furniture well. The lower price is an added bonus. Please come back and post pictures when you can! Comments (2)Look into cellular (honeycomb) shades in a light color, Will decrease the amount of sun but maintain light and not darken the room during the day. Research if you need the thermal ones. If you plan on being in this house for a long time and can afford he extra for remote controls, definitely consider that option. Its just so easy to control the amount of light and warmth. Otherwise consider the pull down without cords. Safer and less messy. You can always add some kind of built in material covered valance/fabric window topper for decoration if you feel its too boring. Look at companies like home Depot, blinds to go, windowsavers and other companies; they are always having 30%- 50% off sales....See MoreNeed help picking a shingle color! Comments (18)"Master Elite Roofing Contractor" authorized by GAF is required for your Golden Pledge Limited warranty to be valid. Read this very carefully to be sure you'll receive a warranty without major loopholes. I feel your pain re: design and colors. It never ends when you own a home over many years. I had the Timberline 40 year installed 20 years ago, but am looking to re-roof in another 5 years. Inclement weather can really take a toll on a roof, and revisions are continual on older homes!...See MoreUser
