First off, let it be said that I use the 20" cages and a few of the old 18" cages and they work out fine. That being said, in response to this "which tomato varieties did you grow with the 24" ones?" I would imagine that just about any of the indeterminate varieties would eventually fill out a 24" cage (Ones I know that could are NAR and Big Beef - I've had NARs fill out 20" cages to a height of 7-8ft before they started growing back down the side) - The reason I never used the 24s is that I feel like it takes too long before the plants are actively being held by a cage that wide. I would feel the need to stake and / or tie-off the plant until it was full enough. That just seems like more work to me. You might not have to tie them off - that I don't know, but I've grown some monster plants in the 18" and 20" cages without a problem. Certain larger fruited varieties may sometimes be a little cramped if they develop a cluster of 4 or 5 right in the center of the cage where the bulk of the stems are - but I've not lost any fruit or production from that. I can't see going wrong with a 20" cage, to be honest.

Thank you for all of your advice. I have changed the mast. Bath to outswing (THANKS!). We are building in GA, have one child, and have covenants that require the home to be 3500 Sq. Ft. We don't require a mudroom, but the Storage Room will be used for winter coats/Storage and a general oversized storage area. I am not a fan of natural lighting in the closet, for fading/loss of hanging space issues. I do prefer the toilet to be to the deep interior of the Mast. Bath so that there is some privacy when using the toilet while the significant other is sleeping (it's an issue!). I have fought for more windows, but he does not like a lot of natural light for some unGodly reason?? I do not like J and J's at all! This will be primarily used for guests. It's unlikely to be used at all. I'll be playing around with the kitchen island to have symmetry with the sink and also room for the DW to be placed NEXT to it, and not around the corner. My idea for the kitchen is to be a hard working one, with large and rarely used items placed in the pantry on a counter, with storage shelves on the opposite wall. I have the speed queen awn432 its a grest machine and Is as close as you will get to your maytag, the Speed Queen has a nicname Speed Queen the modern day Maytag. This is as close as you will get to an old school washer. I highly recommend the speed queen awn432 I'm highly picky and only like old school washers as many here can testify to lol. And I LOVE it.

I agree with @Beverly's comments. The wood of your kitchen cabinets appears fairly light from the photos. It's not the cabinets that are making your kitchen not the "light and airy" you want. First, and easiest, is to update the lighting. Second would be to change the bulky black counter stools for something much lighter - those are really sucking both space and light. Third would be to switch the black appliances for stainless steel which provides reflectivity, rather than having the black appliances swallow the light. If budget allows, I would change the backsplash, and if the budget allows, the counters. I would do any or all those things before painting the cabinets. You need to majorly de-clutter. You could paint everything, change everything in your kitchen, but with all the stuff and piles you have everywhere, it still won't look light and airy.
