Ghirardelli...how do you pronounce it/do you like it?
Comments (26)I like it alot for baking. Used to be able to buy it at Trader Joe's but the one I go to now doesn't sell it anymore(so not sure if that's a local thing or what). I bought the white, dark and milk in chunks. Gear ah deli is how I say it too. and I love dark chocolate..I prefer it over milk anyday.. And I think Dove is yucky, I'd rather have a regular ol Hershey's bar of it. My new chocolate passion is Dilettante. I am loving the dipped dried fruits. Makes me feel like I'm eating something extra good for me. LOL Here is a link that might be useful: Dilettante...See MoreHow do they do this? It's cool as can be!
Comments (8)I'M NOT SURE....but it looks kinda like, and if I read at the bottom of her page... Those are like the glass bloobs... or gems... or what ever you call them like a marble but with the flat edge... and because they are clear when you put the fabric on the bottom side with the RIGHT side of the fabric up (with glue on it ) then it sticks... and then it drys like you can see it like thru a magnifying glass.... MAYBE> I know when I was little in grade school we took an old glass coaster/ or thing to make furniture not leave a mark on the carpet.. stuck a little picture of our self then put plaster of paris (spelling ?) Do YOu know what I mean well I'mmmmmm not sure. just thought maybe! I DO LIKE IT TOO! Hope we find out!!! God Bless! susiesunshine...See MoreWhat kind of microfibre mop do you have? How do I use it???
Comments (4)I use the Mr. Mister mop with BONA and microfiber cloths from Solutions. I have wood floors in every room except the bath and laundry. The mop is handy because I can put the BONA inside, but the head tends to flop around and you have to refold/change the cloth every so often. I find it easier to just get on my hands and knees unless I'm doing more than a couple of rooms at a time. I have never used it dry. I don't baby my floors, but those Solutions cloths are very *grabby*. I'd be afraid little rocks would get caught in the cloth and add more scratches to the floor. Before mopping, I use a regular old-fashioned dust mop to push everything out the front or back door. No kiddies here so I don't have to mop very often. I sweep or vacuum every few days and spot clean as necessary. I believe BONA is short for BONAKEMI. I purchase the big jug of floor cleaner from the Bona website. I also use it to clean wood furniture and cabinets - I haven't bought Pledge or Murphy or Endust or anything like that in ages. I could be paying way too much for the BONA. I've never comparison shopped it....See MoreDo you have a screened porch, and how often do you use it?
Comments (12)I'm in New England -- in wooded hillside with nearby streams and ponds. After dusk, the mosquitoes get wild. I don't have a screened in porch but wish I did. I would sleep there and listen to whippoorwills and frogs and later in the summer I'd enjoy the crickets. I'd breath in the fragrance of the grass and woodlands a d pond. At dawn and dusk, I'd swoon over theusical flute like call of the wood thrush. For old time sake, I'd light a kerosene or Coleman lantern and playing cards or an attic fragrant board game. No screen porch, but large windows with screen in a woodland home. If you are lucky enough to have a screened in porch (floor too), count yourself lucky and enjoy every second on it. Breath deeply. Totally relax....See Morezabba23
