back splash mistake

Put a kitchen white subway tile backsplash in and I have two places--one by the stove hood and one by a sink window--where I ended the row with a full tile but have a 3/16" gap between the tile and window/hood--whereas the rest of the tiles have a 1/8" space between them. There really isn't enough room to add a sliver of tile (actually, I would add a sliver if I could cut a tile 1/8" wide. I don't think that is possible? When I grout the backsplash, will those two 3/16" gaps be very noticeable? Also, I'd like to use a very light gray grout instead of white but don't know if that will make those two areas stand out even more? Thank you for any advice you can give me.
