Chipped beef on texas toast. Made up a batch the other day and tonight I get to enjoy it.

Making a Creole dish so I can post it on my food blog in enough time for Mardi/Gras - Fat Tuesday. Andouille sausage, mussels (wasn't impressed by the local shrimp), okra, mushrooms, onions, celery, bell pepper. Over rice.

Made a double batch of green salad for last evening's dinner so there would some leftover to go with the Digiorno pizza planned for tonight. There is a show on RFD TV at 6 pm each week that we never miss. So its Pizza, salad, and beer for an easy, no fuss meal to take to the tv room to eat while we watch

Cajun Seafood Restaurant with 5 friends. I had their fried oyster plate, horsiesauce, their specialty cole slaw, cajun crab bisque. My favorite thing there.

We shared a slice of key lime pie, just like you get in Key West, and an order of beignets dusted with powdered sugar, and caramel sauce.

Meat loaf, baked sweet potato, and tossed salad. Coffee later with a min. Brownie bite.

Probably something like a sandwich... super simple. We have to leave in about an hour, and will be gone for a few hours.

Going to a Mexican Seafood restaurant with friends. I am thinking we will share a variety of things.

Fried catfish, cole slaw, and air fried hush puppies and red Robyn fries.

Happy Birthday, Marilyn Sue. Sounds like a wonderful celebration. I'm just have white chili for dinner.....went to run today and had shrimp tacos, so a little bit of soup will hit the spot. DH will probably have some salmon and salad.

Left over wild rice soup and fresh homemade whole wheat bread. For dessert, I will have a piece of hot milk cake, recipe from pixiestix, who used to post here. Love that cake.......think I'll put caramel sauce on my slice tonight.......yesterday it was cherries.

Yesterday I made curry coconut chicken soup and it was delicious, although had a bit too much chicken, IMO. Today I added rotel tomatoes, beef broth and leftover coconut milk to extend the leftovers. DH had rice with his and I ate mine over wilted spinach. Very yummy. No dessert, but a piece of Glenda's key lime pie would be very welcome!

I found a tub of my chili in the freezer so that a small sparce salad and corn muffins is what the kids and I had.eta if I don't get to the grocery store soon well be eating cold cereal without milk. Lol

Ham & mac n' cheese.

Thai food tonight. We are going to have a fresh shrimp salad, porkball soup, deep fried snakedhead fish with fresh herbs and steamed white rice.

Marilyn Sue, I love that you made your own cake. I believe I've done that before. :) I hope you had a very fun time.

We had what my husband calls, "mama burgers". Hamburgers made on whole grain bread, rather than a bun. I put fried onions, mushrooms, bacon and cheese on them along with the tomato and lettuce. A little sloppy to eat, but they went down well. :)

We went to Popeye's, for the first time, last night. Finally. We've been seeing the commercials for at least 15 years and one finally opened in a nearby town. Everything was too spicy for me. I ate a couple of bites of chicken and the biscuit. Gave everything else to hubby. He liked it, but the portions are so small. After he ate both of our dinners, he came home and had a big bowl of cereal with fruit.
