I got sucked in by the 50 soup recipes click bait a day or two ago. Going to try the Tuscan Tortellini Soup recipe. [I used fresh herbs, and made a few insignificant tweaks, but everyone loved it. The recipe is a keeper! :) ]

I could sit down at any one of the above posters dinner tables and love the meal. I made a beef bulgur casserole today. I also had to have a small amount of the lima beans I cooked.

I had planned on making a boiled dinner - cottage roll, onions, carrots, potatoes and cabbage for my sister who is staying here temporarily so I can take care of her but she ended up in the ER last night and came back home late this afternoon so all she wanted was coffee, muffin and a yogurt. I just put a frozen pizza in the oven for myself. Boiled dinner tomorrow night

We cooked a homemade pizza on the grill (on a pizza stone), yummy with a mixed greens salad and a couple glasses of wine! It's perfect weather for sitting outside and chatting.

The last of the green pepper soup the neighbor gave me plus fried green tomatoes and I also fried some brussel sprouts before they went bad. Never tried that before, they got a little too brown, but tasted alright.

It's almost 9pm. and I'm getting hungry for "something". Had veggies and dip, but that's not hitting the spot. ha. Maybe a little bit of cottage cheese.

Pork chops fried, home fries and green beans. Had a few mushrooms and decided to fry them as well. I love them any way they are cooked.

The last "Blue Apron" meal from last week's box. Moroccan-spiced ground beef skewers, with a lemony yogurt dipping sauce, brown rice, oven-roasted butternut squash, and I added the last of the leftover curried spinach.

I live in a small country town where country cooking is on most menu's yet I've never had fried green tomatoes. Schoolhouse has reminded me that I need to make them one day soon. Everytime I see a photo of them I crave them. Lol. They do look yummy.

DH is feeling housebound and needed to get out, so we did go out for a late lunch. For supper, so he could take his pills, we each had a clementine, a few grapes, and hard boiled egg.

London Broil with some horseradish, red taters with a ton of butter and a dollop of sour cream, green beans and bacon.

Rotisserie chicken from Costco, Stove Top stuffing, frozen mixed vegetables. All leftovers. My kind of cooking, make a lot and then coast for a couple nights.
