Supper Time on Friday!
Comments (14)I had to go to the audiologist today. Traffic was too heavy to get home in a timely fashion so I stopped at the half way point and had steak and shrimp. It was a senior special. 6 oz. sirloin with 4 large fried shrimp. I had a salad and rice pilaf instead of potato. Broccoli, petite string beans baby carrots and zucchini was the vegetable. Iced tea and dessert (banana split ice cream) were included. Seagrass I love lamb but DH doesn't. I always have a three pack on hand for when we eat apart. It was my last night's dinner, broiled loin lamb chops and spinach ravioli for the side. A less than 15 minutes to prepare meal. Walmart of all places has a two pack of pre-seasoned (garlic and rosemary) lamb steaks that I also like once in a while....See MoreSupper Time on Friday!
Comments (13)We still had some ham left over from Sunday dinner. I'd made a yummy soup with some of it a few days ago, so tonight I decided to make ham, cheese, and egg biscuits, and my DD cut up some veggies. I used the rough puff method of mixing the biscuit dough--they came out crispy and layered and really good. I julienned the ham and warmed it in the skillet after I cooked the eggs, mounded it on top of the egg, covered with cheddar cheese, and put them back in the warm oven until the cheese was soft. If you've never made biscuits that way, I recommend it!...See MoreSupper Time on Friday!
Comments (15)We had spaghitti with meat sauce, and salad. I had a angel food cake mix, was in a white bag and I can't remember the name, I think it was for resturant use that my cousin gave me. It only called for water. I mixed it and poured it into a half sheet cake pan lined in parchment. OMG was it good. I never would have believed it came from a package had I had it somewhere. I ate mine plain with coffee. The boys dipped theirs in chocolate flavored Cool-Whip....See MoreSupper Time on Friday!
Comments (20)Hubs took Amiee and the boys to Steak and Shake for burgers and shakes. I stayed home I'm not any where near well enough yet to go out. I ate a cup of Liptons Noodle soup and a grape popsicle. I had hubs take chili out of the freezer for tomorrow, will have a garden salad and corn muffins with it....See More
