sure, Im going for a modern look (you can see I only have the base of the bar in right now.. but I will have gold fixtures and waterfall white stone surface for the bar,

I do like the lights you have chosen. The problem is you have 9 feet and they are 24" in dia. so for two you are left with 30" of space and the bar is up against a wall. I'd try to find a light as you have chosen in a bit smaller size. Typically, you want 30" between lights such as this over a bar or island. The lights are large and again the bar is against the wall on one end. You want at least 6" of bar counter space left and right inward where they hang over the bar.

Even if you choose to reduce the norm width difference by several inches it's really going to look very crowded IMO.

If you want oversized which is a nice look for lighting that isn't obstructive such as a drum shade which is obstructive or similar you can go oversized. A low ceiling will also compound things if you have a low ceiling. Yet, you take you bar length and you need to space the lights apart by a decent amount at that size so close to 30" and you need at least 6" on each side left and right of the bar edge.

Nice! Yes the creole got is low but I do like the big light idea... maybe a drum light because the ceiling is low or else smaller burst lights

If you're going with a large light, not sure you need 2. And drum shades can be nice, but they can also be obstructive. When going for openness, keep things open. Do you really even need overhead lights? What about having some cool table-top light fixture over by the wall. I'm just noticing that I don't care for much of any of my overhead lighting. I like the warmth of incandescent light bulbs so still love my vintage lamps.

Just think when you go to a bar - how much light do you want in there? How bright?

This one is probably too big, but I found many others with a simple google search. I think it would be cool with your black and gold since the inside of the fixture is gold.

The size fixture would depend on the ceiling height in the room.
