I've mixed brands of polished nickel, and am very happy with how it's turned out. In one bath I have a Pottery Barn quad sconce (discontinued; got it on ebay), Kohler faucets, a Ginger Chelsea grab bar and knobs and tank lever from Lowes. We're finishing the master bath now, and have Hansgrohe Retroaktiv polished nickel faucets, another Ginger grab bar (love it), and the Asbury triple sconce from Restoration Hardware. The sconce is not big in scale at all, and is over a 42" vanity. We like both sconces with lights pointing up so we don't look at the bulbs. Three 60-watt bulbs is plenty, and we have two can lights near the toilet/shower area. I'm using hooks for towels instead of bars, and found polished nickel ones at Lowes that I really like; they match the drawer knobs and tank lever that I'm also using. They're all traditional in style, and all go together really well. I don't think anyone would criticize that they are not from the same company. Good luck! Gorgeous medicine cabinet.

I would probably choose the smaller size, just because there is no reason to light up the whole length of the mirror when you are likely standing in the center in front of the sink. It proportionally might look better with the single sink. It is a pretty fixture, but I personally would choose something different but coordinating for the other baths. Just because the original builder put in matching cheap fixtures doesn't mean you have to follow suit. It also seems likely that the smallest size would be too big for the powder room.

Title 24 means the light fixtures have to be energy efficient; GU24 base only allows energy efficient bulbs. So there won't be much light bulb changing here! I would love to buy antique fixtures...searching them online, I don't think it's in the budget, and unfortunately I don't have the time to bargain shop. I was glad I did the search though! it gave me some other ideas. Focusing on pendants: This one is Rejuvenation and very similar to a 1915 antique version they're selling (I could afford that one, but I need a pair!). This is the burnished antique color, though there's ORB and all other options. I hadn't been looking at Tiffany glass, but I like the idea of adding some color. These come in LED (though for some reason not title 24 compliant), but I could get them rewired for GU24 per Oaktown's suggestion: Opinions on these? Also still looking for more sub-$200 options on the bathroom overhead light--I need to do some more searching there.

I had those fixtures in my last house- loved them. I think I replaced me bulb in nine years. Really bath lights don’t stay on that long so you could just use the halogen. If you want to have leds they make replacement bells that fit.
