please help!! my rhipsalis is dying???
Comments (2)you may need to dump it out of the pot and repot in a fast draining cactus type mix of your choice (I blend my own and everyone has their favorite recipe). I let mine get super dry between watering and mine are in full sun to partial shade. I would move it to bright light and gradually increase the sun. You can try and root the pieces. This has happened to me when one got stuck under a tree and too much water/not enough light. It survived. Tally HO!...See MoreCan you help me with my Rhipsalis?
Comments (12)Looks more like Epiphyllium oxypetalum to me. If it grows any long thing "stick-like" stems, then you can assume it's E. oxypetalum. R. elliptica doesn't seem to sprout new growth from the sides of leaves like E. oxypetalum... but more from the ends of the leaves/joints, like other Rhipsalis. If you look at the growth of this plant, it sprouts new growth from just about anywhere. The real test will be the flower. If they're large beautiful flowers, it's Epiphyllium. If it's small flowers, it's Rhipsalis. But I'd go with E. oxypetalum. Here is a link that might be useful:...See MoreNeed help ID'ing my new Rhipsalis

Comments (10)Christina, those other leaves look mighty fine and dark green. You must of been doing something right all year. Many times citrus will drop leaves, turn color or even get attacked by pests this time of the year. The cold comes into play. A lot less direct over head sunlight like summer and watering has to be pulled back dependent on the temps.. That leaf looks like it just naturally fell off.....Mike When you sprayed with Neem, did you spray under the leaves too? Looks like you did the tops but not the bottom.....See MoreCasey (Indianapolis, Zone 6a)
