We were 0 this morning. I will probably have some pizza. I have some beans soaking but will fix them tomorrow.

We are making sandwiches with leftover steak from last night. Sesame seed rolls, sliced steak, provolone cheese wrapped in foil and baked in oven until warm and toasty. Side of 4 bean salad.

Keeping it simple tonight. Slow cooked barbequed wings/drumettes with garlic/parmesan cheese.

Early meal for me, leftovers from New Year's meal. 1F this AM in TN, aka "the fake south".

I was out running errands this afternoon, so I stopped by our favorite pizza joint for a take-n-bake. He ran it through the oven real quick, we'll finish it off in a bit.

Turkey breast is in the oven. Sides are mashed potatoes, noodles (for those that don't like mashed), stuffing, cranberry sauce, carrots, turnips, salad.

I just ate a Siggi's yogurt. Trying to lose a pound and I've been snacking on Christmas mints all day. :0) I'll have a huge mug of green tea later.

Dear husband grilled pork chops. Nice to know that is possible when the temperature outside is in the teens! Meanwhile I peeled, cubed and oven-roasted a whole tray of potato, sweet potato, carrot, butternut squash, onion, garlic.

Tomorrow the leftover roasted vegetables will go into a couscous salad, with an orange and cranberry dressing.

Helping daughter pack to move and we cleaned out refrigerator, so we ordered bbq pulled pork sandwiches and slaw. Yum!

I made chicken soup today, so we had a bowl with leftover prime rib from New Years Eve. I put some arugula and butter lettuce in a bowl. It is a good thing I did not pour on some salad dressing because neither DH nor I ate any. I also forgot to serve the mushrooms that I reheated. I will drop off the rest of the soup about 50 ounces at my daughter's house tomorrow while she is at work.

Meatless day. Homemade mac & cheese, big crunchy salad, rest of the boys homemade applesauce and crusty rolls.

We left for a week so I ran to the store yesterday and bought a ton of veggies. I've got a list of meals made up, but not sure in what order we will eat them. Tonight we had a dish called Creamy Spring Tortellini with peas, asparagus and bacon. It was pretty tasty. DH and dd had eaten the leftover blackeye peas and rice earlier.

French dip sandwiches from New Years Day prime rib, salad.

It was so cold for us in northern Alabama yesterday morning, single digits. I pulled a meaty leftover roasted chicken carcass out of the freezer, removed the meat and started simmering the bones and skin for broth. All I wanted for supper was a big pot of chicken stew.

I was thinking, as I chopped a cup each of whole carrots, celery, and onions to add to the seasoned stock after I removed the bones, that this was such a perfect, wholesome, simple dish. I added a few simple seasonings and served the stew in warmed bowls, Robert's with a serving of egg noodles. So delicious!

I made a chicken-tomato soup last night as dh is sick with a bad cough. Plan on having it again tonight!

Stir fried mixed veggies, prawn fried rice, marinated chicken wrapped in leaves and deep fried (served with sweet chili dipping sauce) and sea food cakes (filled with shrimp, fish pieces, mussels and squid).

Tuesday night... chicken thighs and Brussels sprouts simmered in wine sauce.

Tonight, Wednesday, homemade Korean galbi (beef short ribs, Korean style).
