We recently painted our front door with sidelights and know what you're going through. What we did before painting was drive thru neighborhoods to see what others had done and that helped us decide what to do with ours. We noticed that some painted them all the same color but others painted them contrasting colors or matched the sidelights with the windows and painted the door a separate color to make it stand out. I don't think the wall color is the issue. Keep the teal table, and get a lighter rug with a mixture of colors, including teal. Then change out your bench to one with tall legs (so it doesn't look so heavy), and add coordinating pillows. What is above the teal table?

I think a new front door and removing the shutters would be my choice. and removing the too big greenery that is hiding part of the door. As for color for the door I would probably do a blue . Reds are tricky with your sidng color. The blue in that flower by yhe garge would be perfect. As for inside first get a much better entry light that will actully light the whole space . I would also paint all the trim outside in a darker shade of the siding since the trim is nothing to highlight . A mich simpler front door would be my choice with the same amount of glass just not the fancy shape or the fancy glass.

Most exterior doors are one color on the outside and another on the inside. Yes, I would match your panels, in the Dover white.
