Can this cookie dough be saved?

I prepared a batch of cookie dough that contains cocoa powder, which (I know, I know!) I forgot to sift first before adding to the flour. While blending the dry ingredients into the butter mixture, I noticed some pea-size clumps of dry cocoa powder. I tried to press out and disperse as many as I could, but I'm sure a few still remain. I wrapped the dough and stuck it in the freezer to bake next week, hoping for the best.

I keep thinking about that dough and wondering if there's anything I should do. I thought of pulsing it (thawed and softened) in the food processor, but that will over-process it and make it tough. I thought of tossing it out, but I don't want to waste the ingredients.

What would you do? Can this dough be saved?
