Comments (6)I too agree on the 'game' during an adult party-with the exception of one quick one that has always create laughter in lg parties I've done. Simply, you have each table of seated people split in to 2 teams (the one, two manner), then have all of the 'ones' stand together in a circle on the dance floor. Ditto with the two team. Direct them to remove their shoes & throw them into the center of their circle. Once done-you or the emcee-step into the circle & mixes them all up in a pile. On the count of 3..everyone must scramble to find their shoes, put them on & the 1st team who completes the race...wins. I also had a caricature artist on hand who worked for a minimal fee for those who wanted one done. Something else I did was set up an area for a photographer to take pics of couples, or buddies at the party. It could be a well set, candle lit table for two-toasting w/champagne glasss-or something funny-like the 'boss's desk with a swivel chair and a side chair-posing the couple with the man sitting in the swivel chair, feet upon the desk & the gal taking a memo. A placard on the desk in big print says:"IT's MY TURN"! or something funny! Pics could be passed out later in the evening as souvineers....See MoreGift ideas for holiday renters
Comments (11)Maddie, I think I did see that, unless they have a new season. Fun show! My recollection is that gifts were usually wine and food, especially local. I would leave a lobster or blueberries except I decided to stick with things that don't spoil! I keep them in a cabinet and our maid puts them out. A custom puzzle is a really great idea, but I think more $$$ and also time. I ordered the Malin ones and they will arrive tomorrow. That way everything will be stocked and I don't have to worry. Daisy, actually i do still leave some taffy, just not the big fancy box. I have these French lamps in 2 guest rooms that I just love, but they have proven hard to style. I always buy new washcloths for guests and this is how I style the lamp in the twin-bedded room. The lamp in the Q guest room had seashells and washcloths and soaps and Kind bars....See MoreNeed Ideas on Decorating Front Door/ Entryway for the Holidays
Comments (9)One suggestion would be a trio of wreaths for your door. The two planters/urns in your first photo look nice. You could add some lights to them. Maybe lights on the two trees flanking the entry. Those battery-powered fairy lights come in handy for wreaths, planters and just about anything else. They're on very flexible thin wire and easy to weave, spiral or arrange any way you like....See MoreBumblebeez SC Zone 7
