Any Electric Pressure Cooking experts here?

I've had a Power Cooker for a couple of years and I hadn't used it that much. Recently I have seen a lot of talk about Instant Pots and I have been kind of comparing mine to what they can do. I have used mine twice this week. Today I fixed a couple of thick pork chops thinking that this would be my answer to having a tender chop for a change. I cooked it 20 min. and it was just as tough as any other pork chop I've ever cooked. Is this typical? Should I have cooked it longer? Thanks
