Dinner will be baked chipotle thighs, mashed butternut squash, and green peas.

Well lets see I had a steroid shot last week and have been taking these steroid pills nightly so I'm HUNGRY. I am giving the kids and hubs grilled ham slices, baked potatoes, peas and applesauce....I'm going to have all the above plus a chocolate milkshake, maybe a glazed donut, and if I'm still hungry there's always a bowl of Lucky Charms. I'm only half joking.

Rita a pot of that Tuscan bean soup sounds delicious. Matter of fact everything sounds good. LOL

I have a piece of beef liver, thawed, that must be used, along with a meatless stuffed pepper from GD. Also will have a few "tomatoberry" tomatoes.

I had a gourmet meal for supper (talk about being a pauper) ... a bologna sandwich and a glass of milk.

I love a sandwich dinner. A couple plates to wash...period.

I made a pot of beans and sausage, then someone mentioned fried corn bread so I made some. Toll house cookies for dessert.

I have had a stomach bug the last few days so not eating much. We don't have much in the fridge yet either. I might do an egg and potato scramble with a little bit of ham included.

Went to bowling this afternoon. First time after having hurt my back a couple weeks ago. I did ok there but I am tired. Made a Bertolli shrimp and linguini skillet meal for my son and me.

Pan fried pork ribs and cheesy mashed potatoes. I'll probably skip the ribs and have a Fage cherry/pomegranate yogurt later. I had tuna/protein for lunch.

Smoked tri-tip sandwiches and steamed asparagus.

Marylin_Sue, grilled cheese and tomato soup is one of my very favorite meals of all time. We seldom have bread in the house so it's a special treat now. Tonight we had sweet Italian sausage with cheese raviolis and marinara sauce.

Breakfast like a king and sup like a pauper, they say is the best way, I've read this too, and I think it's a wonderful idea since we need more energy during the day, and often less at night, but DH and I have no time for it, sadly!

Dinner last night was baked salmon with basil pesto (made it in the nick of time before the frost got all my lovely basil!), on a bed of mashed potatoes, with steamed cauliflower and broccoli. I was too tired to make a salad. Breakfast was 'nothing' (oh, bad!), lunch was the other half of DH's sandwich eaten quickly at my desk.
