If this is the only room for a TV, the you need to decide where the TV will go for the best viewing. The sofa will go opposite that and then you can deal with what is left over. But if your hear is set on a 60" dining table you will need a 120" diameter space for the table and dining chairs around it.....that being said, place your dining table to accommodate what you want your dining area to be, then place TV and sofa. As you make one decision, may other possible decisions will fall away. Some examples of dining in a great room. 1. Floating near sofa and kitchen 2. Circular dining area, but still floating. 3. great room next to round dining room 4. dining table between kitchen and family room areas.

What is the long rectangle drawn on the door wall in both plans - a free standing wardrobe / closet? I don’t see a built in closet in room which I think is not unusual for european apartments. Looks like the door wall is the only place it fits so choice for bed is window wall or opposite wall. I would want to wake up & see that beautiful view & also be able to stand in front of the windows & maybe even have seating in front of them. Why would the bed need to be flush against the wall the full width of bed & why even think about adding extension to the wall to accomplish that? Just place the bed & nightstands against the wall opposite windows & in the best spot to leave enough room to easily walk around the end of bed to get to other side & just leave the open space behind part of the bed & night stand on that side of bed closest to door of room. Maybe that side of bed gets a floor lamp instead of lamp on nightstand to use some of the space or, set a free standing beautiful screen along the space to give the illusion of a wall & use space behind screen for storage. Fabulous apartment!

A low back sectional (not a big fluffy sofa/sectional) will not distract from the fireplace. Two 48" consoles under the windows with lamps for low lighting and a 9 x 12 area rug centered on the fireplace would be pleasant and open a walkway to the doors and kitchen? The TV should be on the long blank wall to balance the room. That display unit to be ceiling to floor and I suggest cerused oak to mimic the brick on the fireplace.
