This isn't a recipe. What I do is buy a bunch of half gallons of fruit juice (organic 100% the named juice), pour them together, and add some carbonated water to make it more punch like than juice like. The last one for Fall was a couple of spiced apple ciders (easy enough to add spices ahead of time if it doesn't come that way, and strain them out before use), cranberry juice, and lemonade. I'm usually too busy to make punch, but opening and dumping bottles is something any random guy who walks in the door can do. :)

Here's a recipe I saw on Facebook that would be good for a party.

Golden Apple Punch

1 part apple juice

1 part white grape juice

1 part lemonade

2 parts ginger ale

Stir and serve.

This also sounds refreshing. Cranberry Punch.

Yep! They're usually just peach Schnapps and orange juice, and they're delicious. Here's my recipe.

Fuzzy Navel Punch

1 59 fl. oz. carton Minute Maid Peach Punch, chilled

1 59 fl. oz. carton Bright and Early (or orange juice of choice), chilled

1 16 oz. pkg. frozen sliced unsweetened peaches (4 cups)

2 oranges, thinly sliced

1 cup peach Schnapps (2 if making both pitchers alcoholic, or leave out completely)

1 liter bottle peach drink mixer

In a gallon pitcher, add 2 cups of sliced peaches, one sliced orange, 1 cup peach Schnapps, ½ carton Minute Maid Peach Punch, ½ liter of drink mixer and ½ carton Bright and Early/orange juice. Repeat for second pitcher (omit Schnapps if desired). Stir and serve. Can also use all ingredients to make one large punch bowl.

What about spiced (or not) cider &/or cranberry juice? And who says you can only serve lemonade in the summer? What about flavored lemonades?

I'll second (or is that third?) the spiced/mulled cider. It would also be good for sangria, there are recipes that take fall fruits in place of the summer fruits and berries. I don't drink alcohol, so I'd like lemonade year round, as well as warm drinks like chai tea or cappuccino drinks.

Apple Sangria

3 1/2 cups chopped Honeycrisp apple (about 2 pounds)

1/2 cup apple schnapps

1/4 cup honey

4 whole cloves

2 (3-inch) cinnamon sticks

2 (1/4-inch) slices peeled fresh ginger

1 large navel orange, quartered

1 (750-milliliter) bottle fruity red wine (such as Beaujolais)

1/4 cup club soda, chilled, divided

4 thin horizontal slices cored Honeycrisp apple

Combine first 8 ingredients in a large bowl; stir well. Refrigerate 4 hours or until thoroughly chilled.

Strain wine mixture through a sieve into a bowl; discard solids. Pour about 2/3 cup sangria over ice in each of 4 glasses; top each serving with 1 tablespoon club soda and 1 apple slice.
