Yes I definitely have to get a new front door. It is cracked and warped due to the amount of direct sunlight it gets hence why the grass is brown in that area of the yard. The house sits up on a hill and there is landscaping in front of the dead grass. You cannot see the dead grass from the road. We just need to get a sprinkler system. I want a door with a window because we have a great view from the front of the house, the sunsets are amazing. View from close to the street

Adorable house! I am thinking British racing green, a deep saturated black green. To balance the mass of the reddish brick, I would paint those shutters a spanking white color, and to make the gutter downspout disappear, I would paint it the same color as the brick from the top of the brick down. (Leave the white part of the downspout alone where it is in front of of white trim.)

Love your inspiration photo. Can you remove your storm door or replace it with a full view one? Painting your door won't have much effect if you can't see it!
