Hi! I’m finally ready to tackle painting the exterior elements of my home and could really use the help of the Houzz community. Our brick is an orange-ish red, which is not my favorite, but I’m not willing to paint it at this time, and would rather tone it down while updating the whole aesthetic by painting the white door, shutters, and trim. Our house is situated sideways from the road so I’m also hoping to emphasize the ”front” door a bit more. Below are a couple photos of my home, along with a photo of a home painted with colors I think would complement my home very well. I would plan to paint the columns (we plan to fix up and screen in the lower level) and other trim a greige similar to the color of the mortar, but the door would be dark and the shutters a greenish grayish blue. Any suggestions or thoughts? Thank you in advance!!
