I'm buying a new entry door for my house. I think I'm buying a fiberglass but I'm not sure about the color. Any advice?

Hi Lisel, I like white for the door. Black would be another option. I would trim those big bushes back to expose more of the entry. A larger light fixture would help. A black door could look nice with a black light and black mailbox.

No shutters on that upper window...just not enough room due to the roof line. Each shutter should be half the window's width to be sized right.

My only advice on colour is, not white. Black is fine but so is colour (blue, red, or yellow).

I’d give thought to how much privacy vs sunlight you want. That, to me, is the most important.

But the real reason I’m writing is to say what a handsome house you do have. The scale and proportion are so soothing to the eye. Love it.

What did you decide to do? I like the black door, with a larger black lantern.

Very nice house, but I would replace the large shrubs with something smaller.
