My granddaughter captured this awesome picture of the moon tonight in Kansas. The news said the red was caused by smoke from the fires in Montana!

We've got some high overcast. Just walked outside and I can't see the moon at all from here.

All, I was just pointing out a modicum of truth to the cartoon--which made it funny to myself and a friend. The same friend directed me to this forum about a year ago by saying, "you have to check out this website. These people are fanatical about ranges." He went on, "especially the Ã¢ÂÂbattleÃ¢ÂÂ between the Blue Star and the Capital Culinarian." So I've been reading for quite some time. My interest is from the standpoint of the release of a new cooking product and how the initial rollout is received by the business, or on the residential side in this case, the people. As I've stated, I don't own one so only could make comments derived from the following posts (which I did not write) which are titled: "culinarian oven racks are disappointing" and Ã¢ÂÂwok use on the culinarian wok grate observationÃ¢ÂÂ Does anyone know if the rolling racks are the same in a self-clean oven and a manual clean oven? Is the issue with the racks caused by a self-clean cycle? Best, Lew

This one is just for U.S. residents, but we plan to do more of these when we are able. Currently, the products on Houzz primarily only ship to U.S. with a small percentage available to Canada, so for this particular one, it made sense to limit eligibility based on that.

Someone asked on the other post what do you think those covered things are by the doors and light switches? I have looked a couple of times and see even more crazy things I missed previously. I had barely paid attention to the exterior but it is a mess too. I can't believe the price history and what they are asking. Every one of the hook toilet paper holders is mounted going the wrong direction. You would not be able to keep tp on it. The artist are idiots! They must have got a great deal on that fabric and the burnt orange metallic goop paint stuff. Inspired by the piece of pvc pipe for a curtain rod in the dining room and the use of the tablecloth as the curtains and the dangling bits of fabric on the ends lol. Who ever knew spindles got chills and needed covers. And how would anyone clean that place. I bet I would have an asthma attack at the door can you imagine the smell it can't have been cleaned in ages. The floors were at one time nice.

here in SD we have had the smoke for a week or more yesterday the sun was red in the afternoon and this morning it was red too. On my last trip out to Rapid City when the sun was setting, first it looked like it was raining in front of it and then there was black clouds going across it. Kind of like the sun had a mustache, but now that I think of it it probably was caused by the smoke from the fires up in Canada and Montana

Really great photo! I noticed the moon was lovely tonight while walking, but it was not fire-smoke red. (For which I am thankful!)

Now I can see it. I wasn't noticing our air being smoky today but we did have high haze (and warmer than normal) so maybe.... My moon is red. Washington coast.

I talked to my brother in Portland a while ago and he said ash is falling in the city from the fires in Oregon.

Is it the blood moon? I have a similar shot of blood moon in Maine. Beautiful.

Our moon was red last night because of forest fires from the interior of the province, from Washington and from Oregon. The sun is red today for the same reason and there is so much smoke today that you can smell it.
