Please help with paint color and cabinets

I posted this question in the paint forum but didn't get any feedback.

We're in the process of remodeling our kitchen and getting ready to resurface our cabinets. I painted the wood paneling and soffit SW Wool Skein. I was planning on painting the cabinets and trim SW Alabaster.

I can't decide if the soffit should be the same color as the cabinets or keep it Wool Skein. Also, not sure if I should just scrap the white cabinet idea and paint them wool skein as well. We will be replacing the counters and floors as well.

This is what the cabinets will look like after we refinish them (hopefully). Thanks in advance for your help!

I found this pic of a kitchen done with SW Wool Skein on Walls
SW Alabaster on cabinets and trim. I'd keep all of the walls, including soffit, the wall color.

Since the cabinet door you show above has a 'wash' on it rather than being fully covered with paint, is that what you plan to do? It's a nice look.

We were planning on painting the cabinets alabaster as well...but a wash might be a nice look. Thanks!

i don't see much difference in either the dover or creamy, so either would work. your other samples need to be placed like the second picture. i would be sure to pick a warm white, since to me your counter reads warm if you have a scrap piece of counter, bring it to the paint store and they should be able to match it or get very close.

I might consult w an interior designer. The shapes are unique . The space is large . there are likely some opportunities at the dining zone . Continuing w changes without a cohesive plan is often not the best w a space like this.

Love your cabinets, very nice grain..so yes, a wash might be a way to go

(I like their color too))

Soffits are usually wall color. Well, they are a part of a wall, so makes sense
