I used to have a lot more duplicates, but downsizing and Old Man Winter have eliminated most of them. On BOGOs from Maryott, I used to plant one in the ground and one in a pot for hybridizing. I still have Inimitable and Levi Davis both in the ground and in a pot. Until this spring, I had two clumps of Ruby Lipstick and Annabelle's Blush, but sold the extras to make room for new daylilies. I like to divide my lates and spread them around. I currently have three clumps of Royal Jester and two clumps of Techny Peach Lace, although I'm pretty sure I'm getting rid of both clumps of Techny Peach Lace. Since it bouquet blooms, the show is over in three weeks, and I have much better performing lates now in the same color range (Kentucky Lucky, for example bloomed last year for almost 8 weeks). At one time I had three clumps of Westbourne Good Old Days. I kept dividing it because it was such a vigorous grower. Now I have two clumps, and plan to sell off the smaller one in the future. If I were going to mass plant any of the daylilies I currently own, it would be Edge of Your Seat (because of the terrific repeat bloom) or Ruby Lipstick, which is well budded and usually throws a few reblooms scapes. I would agree with Nigella and Marcia IL. The one large flowered "Japanese" variety that seems to always split is Tie Dye Purple/Blue. The flowers are so large and so fragile that the flowers open split no matter what the weather. (The Tie Dye Pink that I've grown seems to have a little more substance to the flowers and is LESS prone to splitting.) I've never had this problem with Mt. Fuji Morning Glories, although the flowers are not quite as large as the Tie Dye flowers. The Mt. Fuji flowers also seem to have more substance which may be a factor in how long the flower lasts and holds together. I've NEVER had a problem with birds damaging the flowers on my Morning Glories. And Marcia brings up a good point. Rose flowers grown in damp, humid conditions have a tendency to "ball." When a rose flower "balls" it can't open because the top section of the petals have fused together due to the moisture. The entire flower forms a "ball" that eventually drops off as one big "glob" when the flower reaches the final stage. This can happen to many velvety textured flowers, not just roses. Even flowers that have thinner textures sometimes do this. So if you have heavy dew in the mornings and/or high humidity it is possible that sections of the "twisted" bud on the Morning Glories will fuse and result in damaged flowers once the bloom opens (or tried to open). Size of housing is difficult to identify. But I think the survey has a great deal to offer beyond what is written. Homes in the inner city are much smaller and always have been. Move further out, the homes become larger. We have done this to ourselves with counties limiting the minimal size of building (one example). And so many wanting to get out of the city, willing to drive miles to work, etc. Gastly huge shopping centers to support them. I would have to find a county in the mountains or dry east of my area to build a small home. And are they speaking of new builds or existing from as long ago as the 1800s? It would be interesting how they put together the chart. Not that I don't see it as realistic. In our state the basement is included in the sq.ft. And if you drive through the city there are huge victorian mansions one would love to get into to see all. Most have those wonderful horse carriage covers in front, plus carriage houses. The sad thing is they are all split up into rentals mostly for college students or business entities. Are they including these too?

We've thought about a shelf with two separate appliances because we'd definitely be happier being able to choose appliance separately. Having taken the face plate off the front of the current unit so that we could look inside the opening, we now know that in addition to building a shelf, we'd need to put a liner piece of wood over one side of the cavity because what is there is not finish quality material, and we'd need another piece of liner in order to bring the back side forward because now it is too deep for a simple shelf for a microwave to sit on. Is this terribly difficult to do? Taylor's cabinets, can you please explain the filler and overlay filler to me? I do know what you mean about the stain being difficult to match. We just visited a kitchen showroom, and I saw several cabinets where they had to slightly alter the size to insert the new display oven, and despite the fact that the cabinetmaker had done a good job, I could still see the patch.
