Comments (27)@Joe Macker. I added protective film to my windows to block UV rays from causing damage. The advantage is that this protects everything in my room. I had damage to my furniture - both cloth and wood from the light streaming in. I have an Eastern exposure. You can't tell that there is any kind of protective film on the windows as mine are not tinted - or tinted so slightly that there is almost no difference but they are rated for close to 99% blocking of the UV rays....See Morewhite oak engineered flooring advice needed
Comments (6)Diane McGaw , We do a TON of projects in South Florida and in coastal California. You want to find a high quality America made Engineered floor. White Oak is ideal for coastal decor. I would suggest a light whitewash or similar finish. We use Bona with good results. If it was for your countertop, please let me know what it is as I really like the look of it. Only difference is that I am looking for a lighter European White Oak LVP, SPC with minimum of 20 mil and natural or micro bevel.
