Lol! I just posted these from my shopping trip today. They are HUGE. I'd never seen them before today. I bought the Ariel professional. Too much choice and curiosity about how it compares to Tide Pro swayed me.

Maybe it's a marketing scam to make us think they're better haha

Are the instructions/dosing written in English anywhere? If not, would you mind posting the French side? Thanks!

So this is powder not pearls? I didn't look that closely since I've never loved then pearl scent. Different scent then the pearls?

This is a powder, not Pearls/Perls. I do not like German Perls and I did not like USA Persil Pearls. The scent is very close to Perls/Pearls. Clean, fresh, herbal, soapy and 1000% sweet free ;)

They had universal and color plus liquids in "professional" at my store yesterday.

I think my Ariel pro is universal as well even though it doesn't say.

Seen this on German amazon, Need to buy some detergent soon maybe a contender?

Have not tried it yet Linus! It arrived yesterday after dinner, and by that time the 3-4 loads I washed on Weds were already done! I will try it on Sat or Sun.

looked this up on Amazon. Same exact picture there as what you posted Larsi. Amazon says product of the Netherlands. Is yours German or Netherlands made?

For those who like LIGHT or almost non-scented laundry this Persil Professional powder is for you!! In the box it smells VERY Persil, but being that this is made for hotel and restaurant use....after rinsing and drying, the scent is so, so light. Bad for me, since I love the way this stuff smells.

But..this powder CLEANS!!! I washed a large load of kitchen towels and dinner napkins with all kinds of stains....marinara, pizza sauce, brown gravy, hot wing sauce, light curry, eggs.... EVERY stain removed. Not just lighter, but gone! I washed at 140F (cold fill...which right now is about 92F :-O

Also, everything feels "smooth" and cared for. I'm assuming that since this is for frequent hotel or restaurant use, it has fiber care.

Larsi, I find the Ariel the same. Very strong in the bag but after drying items seem very light. Even my husband's dress shirts that I hang to dry.

yeah, Mexican Ariel smells just like sweet tart candy, but nearly no scent at all once it is out of the dryer...weird how that happens. Now Persil scent stuck to my clothes. I could smell it a week later hanging in the closet.

I have the Ariel Professional from Poland. I was concerned it was going to be strong but pleased it's light after.

Since this is universal it should contain oxygen bleaching agent. Larsi what order is the bleaching agent found among the ingredients? Second,third, fourth.. where?

Judging by the German Persil Pro powder: oxy bleach comes 4th and bleach activator 6th.

Zeolite, a water softener popular here, is somewhere in the middle. That's good - I find - because this stuff does not dissolve and is the reason why dedicated cycles for dark clothes use a lot of water in the rinses (to flush visible zeolite residue off the clothes). Persil Megaperls has zeolite as the first ingredient.

Finally there are enzymes at the end of the list. Six of them, which sounds pretty good.

Cellulase looks to be repeated so Maybe they mean something else or maybe...another form of it?

So maybe this is better than the 80 load box of Persil Universal I bought a year ago and is terrible, so terrible it is in the corner of my laundry unused.

Removing all zeolites from their German detergents? Zeolites = clay and they never fully rinse out.

Yes they advertised as not containing them. Unfortunately I have their detergents in containers and discarded the boxes that showed the ingredients.
