what color carpet w/Saltillo tile?
Comments (5)The grout is a dark, dark grey. We will paint the walls & baseboards so we are wide open with color scheme. Our furniture is more on the dark walnut or mahogany side. I found Behr "light incense" paint which I really like and looks good with the tile (although the online version looks nothing like the paint sample), cream color for the baseboards. We are leaning toward a desaturated "french cream" slightly patterned berber carpet. It's not too yellow and has enough magenta in it to give a warmer feeling to pick up from the tile. We are in AZ and a lot of people here do the saturated western colors. Comments (2)hermustangs, if you'll read the "new to GW" thread below on this page (or if it's left this page by the time you read this, search for it) you'll find explicit instructions on how to post photos; very easy to do. I think you'll get many more responses if you include photos. I'm not good enough with colors personally to try to answer your questions without seeing the rooms. Good luck!...See MoreNeed help choosing colors
Comments (1)Hi-I want to re-do my living room. However, the one thing that has to stay is my wall to wall carpeting. The carpet is a kind of camel color. Right now I have blue furniture and blue and white rag-painted walls. These colors make the room a mix of cool color. I want to warm it up, but don't know how to do it. I was thinking of brown furniture to go with the rug. I also think green might go with it. But I don't know what colors to use for the walls, trim etc. to warm the room up. Any ideas? Thanks in advance....See Moreredoing entryway...need help choosing floor, paint, and stain colors
Comments (1)Are you in an area where snow might be tracked in? If so, consider luxury vinyl plank flooring stead of laminate. Laminate will warp and buckle if drips aren’t wiped up quickly....See MoreCinar Interiors, Inc.
