Need Help with Master Bedroom Bathroom/Bedroom Layout - 1970s house
Comments (5)I like my first idea best as far as use of space. I know people say not to put toilets on an outside wall. We had one in our last house in Iowa, but we had 2X6 construction. I don't know how high your window is, but I'm guessing the toilet would fit under there. The shower would be 5 feet long or shorter if you want a wider space to get to the toilet. (kind of tight the way I have drawn). You could do a 5 and half foot long shower and do an angled door at the left end to allow room between the shower and toilet. The vanity would be about 7 feet long, unless you do a 60 inch vanity with a linen cabinet at the door. I would reverse entry door swing if you do that.. The second top right could work and you would still have a small closet. The bottom left plan would require waterproofing your front window. Hopefully someone will give you other ideas. The bottom right plan is bigger, but no closet. Each square equals 1 foot....See MoreHelp! Need ideas for Master bedroom
Comments (0)Help! We just bought a new house. I need ideas on how to style our master bedroom. I wanted to keep it pretty simple with maybe a few splashes of neutral colors like white, brown, grey, or maybe a light lilac. I know my husband won’t like anything to crazy. Maybe some fake white or green flowers too? I was also thinking to add a big leather chair by my dresser? Basically I’m all over the place and need ideas! Any input is appreciated. TIA! :) Please excuse our mess....See Morewall color ideas needed for master bedroom, Please help
Comments (36)Ok more info. Go to your ideabooks. Click on one. In upper right corner it says “select” and there are 3 dots ... Click on those dots. A menu will display. Click on “Ideabook settings”. That should bring up screen where you can slide button over to make that ideabook “private”. Then click “done” in upper right corner and you should see lock on ideabook when next displayed. Try it. Let me know if it works for you. There might be other ways but this seemed to work....See MoreNeed help on a small addition master bedroom and master bath 19x19
Comments (13)We're adding a slightly larger master suite (20x26) that also includes reconfiguring the original space to create a hallway entrance next to an existing hall bath. Our architect configured the space so that the new master bath abuts the existing hall bath, presumably to minimize the plumbing work etc, as in the 2nd sketch by @er612. She also aligned the new master closet with the existing space which just helps as a sound buffer. The rest of the layout was decided based on views - optimal placement of windows, strategic placement of the bathroom door, having wall space for a TV if you want that....See More- 6 years agolast modified: 6 years ago
