Oh look at you! Some pretty work! I enjoy it too. I like certain colors too and I try to avoid those colors at times to do something different.

A couple of weeks ago I signed up for an app called Recolor. Same concept as Colorfly I think however I can't save the pictures, I can only post them to a community gallery. :c(. It is addicting!

Lukkiirish, could you do screenshots of them? I'd love to see what you are doing! I am completely captivated with this! I can get almost completely 'lost' in the colors.

I should have been out mowing the lawn today, but it was HOT out, the 'real feel' was 107. My BP was up, so I didn't think I needed to be out in that heat riding the mower around. Instead I lazed around the house all day, and colored! I guess it worked, BP is closer to where it should be tonight.

I agree screenshots will get them. On Android hold down the power button and the volume down button together it takes a screen shot.

On my Android (Samsung Galaxy S7) just move the outside edge of your hand over the entire screen. Sometimes I have to do it several times before it clicks. And sometimes I have to lay my hand flat, palm down, and slide it over the whole screen, one side to the other. It will make the same 'click' it makes when snapping a picture, and the screen shot will be saved to your gallery.

Those are very pretty. I especially like the cat and goldfish.... I was thinking the goldfish would make a nice tattoo.....not that I have any or plans to get one. ;)

All these pictures are beautiful and it looked like fun so thought I would check them out. I read all the information and it came up that it cost $24.99 a month. There is a 7 day free trial, but if you don't actively cancel, like you forget to cancel then you will be charged. That is a little too expensive for me. I wish it was free like the promotion said it was.

No that is not correct. I have been using it free for a year or so. It will offer you the option to pay for more options but you can just say no and continue with your free version. I have never paid for anything. I have considered it and there are levels of cost for different options.

Caflowerluver, (why do I always read that as "Cauliflower"?) what is your device? And what apps did you look at? I'm using an Android cell phone, so I don't know about other types. Colorfly for Android is basically free. 'Basically' because you get all the basics free. There are more color palettes and more pictures that you can add for a fee, and it could get expensive. I can't afford to pay all that, either. I did take advantage of an offer a couple of days ago, I think they called it a 'Megabundle', it unlocked all the color palettes and some of the premium pictures for $9.95. They didn't say, so I'm pretty sure that is for a month. That's more than I can afford to commit to, so I have a reminder on my phone to cancel before it renews. Ravencajun can tell you more about Colorfly than I can, she's been using it longer, and is much better at it than I am.

The other app I have is Colorify, which is totally free! I like it a lot, too.

It doesn't have some of the things that Colorfly has, like background textures, etc., but it is still a lot of fun to use. I like that when you chose a color, it brings up a palette of 5 shades of that color, dark to light.

Apparently Raven posted while I was typing. The Colorfly I have is the same one Raven has. I had an older version at first, but it was quite different. I really like both the apps I have now! I'm going to miss the colors I bought when I don't renew the paid part, but there is still plenty there to have fun with. Raven's pictures are proof of that!

I've been admiring the artwork that has been posted here by Rusty and Raven and you've inspired me to decide to play around with this concept (stylized and colorful paintings) in my jewelry designs.

Of course, I won't copy what I've seen here; I'll work on coming up with my own versions using these styles.

Feel free to copy any of the ones I did. I think it would be beautiful as jewelry. Especially that dragon fly.

I ended up having to take pictures, but here's a few of my favorites. The program I use doesn't have the variety in colors yours does.

I have been playing with this new app. Has a lot of colors and gradient options you can save it to your gallery, it has some background options, not very good ones.

What if you just have a computer and not a phone? Are there any websites to do this on? I've looked in the past and all I found were very basic almost like for babies to play with...nothing that I would be interested in and nothing like these pretty pictures that y'all have posted.

Raven, it is the same as Colorfly, it has some basic stuff that is free as well. I wish it had more color options, but the way the colors are presented is much easier to follow for me. It also has metals which I find to be kind of interesting.

I wanted to use my computer instead of my tablet and found a program you can download to do that. It is called "Bluestacks" app Player. It allows you to run your favorite mobile apps/games in full screen in your browser using a PC or Mac. Here is some information about it. I might give it a try.

I paid for a full year for this app....I figure if I get bored with it, I can always give it to my daughter. I paid for it through itunes, so maybe that's why I didn't get prompted for a payment method. Here's some other pics I've done.

That's really neat, Andreap! I just kind of 'scanned' through it, but it would make some beautiful and fun coloring. Looks like they purposely show it so no one can print out the pictures to use. Yes, I must admit, that was my first thought, print some of them to color.
