aklvdb, we painted our bedroom Valspar Iron Frost which is even darker than Night Train (as it looks on my monitor). When it was first done, it seemed very dark, but the room is very sunny/bright, and it's just such a beautiful color that we love it --- on all 4 walls. (That said, of course, since you already have curtains on order, wait before making a decision!)

Also check out BM Granada Villa. Its a beautiful blue teal. We have it up in our entry and an accent wall on our stair landing. Paired with with BM Sea Spray which is a goldish beige. I am starting to think about our Master BR also. It's still builders paint. Will be very interested in the suggestions here. Would love to see the purple blue that Tarnator is talking about. Our designer helps us with colors usually which has really worked in keeping us from wasting time and money.

In my last home my entire family room and kitchen were painted SW CG and my master bathroom was SW SS. BOTH looked very blue in that space. In my new home I had a bedroom done SWSS. In this space it looks very GREEN. Its a beautiful color but I had thought it would be more blue. These two colors are very much affected by light and by yellow light. It completely changes them. I did the master bath in this home in SW Tradewind and I love it! There are so many colors of similar character to go with. A really really pretty color is VALSPAR SEA SALT BLUE. I think you need to make sample boards and try them out and decide of you want more blue more green or more gray. Excuse the paper shades on the window but this is the Tradewind in my new bath. Sea Salt in last home Comfort gray in last home Sea Salt in this home Another color that was a big contender you may want to look at is SW Silver Strand.

I am so grateful for all of the advise I've received so far. I have a brief description of my problem to keep from posting a long post, but I've noticed it would have answered a few questions. The photos with the brown paint room was taken from the realtor's site when I first moved in. None of that was my furniture. I've been living in my guest bedroom until I figure out what to do. I've painted that room twice and hated it. It is now green and bare as shown in the photo . Green was even worse than the tanish/pink I had (I know, don't ask lol). I've since repainted my living room which is the gray paint. My living room shows the current color scheme. Right behind my sofa is a builtin nook which also has the same color scheme. I bought a used bed canopy bed that I originally wanted to chalk paint white; however, I've recently had a mind change to purchase a round bed in rose (perferred) or gray. The canopy bed is also pictured. So basically I'm starting fresh, with no bedding or colors. I did imagine painting my baseboards and molding gray with whitish wall paint. and possibly use white accessories to blend in a rose colored bed... Just a thought... I'd hate too much gray by adding a gray bed but maybe I cant see it. Once again, I appreciate all of your help..
