Post your seedling pics....
Comments (152)I"m only growing 3 plants of each variety that I am harvesting seeds from and the plants that sell will be numerous quantities. Tomatoes is where the money is so that is where the plant numbers get out of control. Even though I sell plants now, it is very much an addiction to grow these and many other vegetablesâ¦I can't stop. 2 years ago I had 250 varieties of peppers and 100 varieties of heirloom tomatoes in my garden. My garden is 150' long and 50' wide the width grows by about 3-4 ft a year. When my wife leaves for the day in the spring I just move the fence out and till the grass before she gets home....See MorePost your seedling pics.... PT-2
Comments (108)Late to the party, but just took pix so figured I'd post. Potted up most of the peppers to individual cells weeks ago, but still have Alma and Tequila Sunrise from Bill multiples per cell. Hope I don't kill them separating them. They're up front on the right (with white envelope in front) - don't they look nice? These won't be transplanted for another 4 weeks at least. But if I can get the tomatoes out of the house this week, I'll have room for individual pots for the peppers. Comments (26)Here's some shots of things over here. Lots of blooms, unusual things, and buzzing here. Albino banana. Pretty to look at but it burns to a crisp in direct sunlight. And its also useless. Cherimoya blooms. Looks like a good year for cherimoya. I got three new seedlings blooming this year. Longan blooms. WTH...yeah its crested. unusual. Emperor lychee. New planting this year after the kuini in this spot died from the cold snap. New guanabana plantings. New plantings, the two large ones here didn't make it through the cold snap either. Guavas. Begining to bloom. Its alive!!!! Its a Nam Doc Mai mango. The cold snap left all the limbs burn and dead, a few survived and is begginning to push new growth. Bananas. Beginning to push out a bloom. Persimmons. Lots of bloom this year. Almost all the blooms looks to be on new growth, a little unusual as we usually get blooms by themselves or vegetative growth and not so much together. Pummelos. 3 and a half years!!! Since I grafted over an old citrus tree in the yard with pummelos. Finally the grafts are begginning to bloom. Usually doesn't take this long but who knows why this one pummelo did. Grapes, not very tropical but I'm hoping to get some fruits this year And a swarm of bees under the cherimoya tree. =) Also lots and lots of cherry tomatoes beginning to sprout up. I spent 15 bucks on seeds!...See MorePlease post your pictures - need ideas for pictures on tabletops
Comments (6)No pictures but I can tell you about mine. I have a sofa table with photos all in the same frames in varying sizes. All are B/W or sepia; all are light-hearted photos of family members that are fun to look at and they date from early 1900's, WWII, mid century to current. I have another group of pictures on shelves that are just "sisters" -- me and mine, mom and hers, grandmothers and their sisters, etc.(as well as a couple of nuns), ranging from 1800's through current. I'm working on another group with the men in the family and one with just wedding photos of family members. I like to use a theme and a commonality in the frames and photos....See MoreHuggorm
