I live in Wisconsin. I'm married with two sons, one in high school and the other in college. We just have one cat, Leo, although I wouldn't mind having another. (The husband disagrees with that plan! Ha. Ha.)

Nice to me you. I am a retired teacher but I sub often enough. I am married, live in Maryland. We raised three beautiful successful daughters and have 7 wonderful grandchildren. We have no pets anymore but have 4 grand doggies. Life is good.

The missus and I moved from Illinois to Florida a little over a year ago. Early on in our marriage we lived in Racine. Before I met the missus, I lived in Oshkosh and Milwaukee. Welcome to The Kitchen Table.

Welcome to the KT! It sure is a friendly place. DH and I are going to Wisconsin in 3 weeks to see granddaughter in her dance recital and grandson play volley ball. They are in Milwaukee (Wauwatosa).

BTW, we have 2 grandsons and 5 darling granddaughters, love them to pieces! Oh yeah, 2 grand dogs too! We live on a lake in northeast Michigan and when all kids and grands are here we total 17!!! Small house, but so much fun!

Greetings from the greater Sacramento area in Northern California! Hubs and I are both retired -- he as an attorney, and I was a Domain Administrator (more power and responsibility than a network administrator) for a large state agency. We have no children, but we do have one very wonderful cat.

Hi and welcome Kelly from the beautiful state of Georgia. I'm one of the "ole gals" here, recuperating from a repair surgery on my left artificial hip. I'm a retired elementary teacher and love all animals and crafting. We have no animals....just too old now. I make cards and love doing it. We are both retired and glad we moved out of Ohio. I'm one of the newer members here (about six months) and live in the mountains of N. California. It's been almost three years since I retired from my position as a elementary (k-8) school secretary. That was one job that was never boring!

My hubby and I have no children, but have been parents to many dogs over the years (some of them posted at the pet thread). We don't have pets at the moment because we are doing a lot of traveling and it wouldn't be fair to the animals to board them at a kennel for weeks and months at a time.

Hello from Pennsylvania, Hubs is a retired teacher, we have 2 adult sons long out of the nest and a twenty year old daughter at home battling a rare condition. ..we are raising our two grandsons Anthony 8 Timothy 9 we've had them since Tim was 2 and Anthony 9 months. Its not easy, but its always a joy having these boys. We also have a 7 year old furbaby (dog) who we all love dearly. I haven't been involved with the KT very long, but like you I lurked before saying hello.

Welcome, Kelly. I live in coastal southern California but grew up in central Illinois. My dad was born in Racine and we vacationed in Wisconsin when I was young. We have 3 adult kids and two grandsons who move to Texas a year ago with DD and DSIL. We are retired. I have been visiting this site for over 20 years.

HI Kelly and welcome. I'm in southern British Columbia, Canada, just a couple of hours north of Seattle. And yep, just like Seattle we get lots of rain and are in the midst of one of the rainiest springs in years.

Hi Kelly and welcome to the KT. I have been on KT a short time but a long-time Garden-Web (and now Houzz) member on several other forums. Mostly Garden Design in the old days, my state gardening page (Alabama) which isn't very active anymore, and Home Decorating and the conversation side over there, plus a few others I go to for random advice now and then.

I'm an almost-retired engineer (June!), married to the love-of-my-life. We have 3 adult kids, 6 grand-kids we follow around watching them play sports. I spend the rest of my time digging in the dirt/gardening, running, working out, hiking, and doing anything I can to be outside. Hence my name.
