Ceiling fan light is too dim?

drews

I replaced a ceiling fan with an new one that has an LED Light. When I inititially wired the new fan, I connected it to the old "1, 2, 3" fan switch. Of course it worked low fan dim light, med fan med light, hgh fan high light.

Wanting independent fan and light control, I ran another wire from the box to the switch and used the switch that can with the fanimation fan.

Good news is that that the fan and light work independently, as they should. Fan speed is good low, medium and high. Issue is that the light is way too dim even on the highest setting.

I know the led light has capability to be much brighter from my connection to initial switch. Could the fan light switch that came with the fan, not be supplying enough power to the light?

Any ideas appreciated. Thanks (I don't have a remote and there are no bottoms on the fanimation wall switch (just two dials...
