Apricot peach colored roses are a tough one as they tend to change color as the bloom matures and with the weather. Then there are a hundred different tones. Some that I had that stayed a strong apricot/peach were very unhealthy.

First I'll put in a plug for a plum colored rose. I know it is not what you were asking for but just in case. Plum Perfect is a smaller size, continuous bloom, healthy, beautiful rose.

Now back to apricot/peach my smallest continuous bloom apricot is Floral Fairy Tale. Mine is own root and stays at or below 3ft H. However the bloom fades very quickly to creamy. Out of all of mine Mother Of Pearl holds its color best and is a reasonably sized rose that is rather healthy as well.

I have for or five others but I've only had them for a year. Just not long enough to recommend.

I also ordered 2 The Lady Gardeners ended up with 4 and none are apricot. Well maybe for a moment when opening. That said what ever they sent me is spectacular. The plant is healthy with a 4 inch flower that last for a long time on the bush and in a vase. Looks like it will be a smaller rose. Wish I could tell you what it is. I just thought I''d let you know that it did not work out for an apricot.

One other that I can only suspect that it will be a good rose is At Last. Picked it up at White Flower Farm. I would not recommend ordering from there. But no one else has it. Really hoping it keeps looking as good as it did in year one. I'll try to think of others out there. Good luck searching.

Tamora and Carding Mill. Tamora does get a little pinkish in cool weather, but by and large it's apricot and stays that way. It hasn't gotten over 3 1/2 feet here in zone 10a (southern Cal.)/

Carding Mill does not bloom as readily, but when it goes through flushes it's magnificent. CM has also stayed small. Both are very fragrant.

I'd recommend Queen of Sweden, but she does get tall and skinny.

My favorite apricots are the 50s floribunda 'Apricot Nectar', still available from Longagoroses, 'Evelyn' and 'Polka'. Abe is another Austin water hog and gets weak necks when denied liquid refreshment. Those huge, gorgeous blooms need to be upright to be at their best.

What about Prairie Sunrise? Not an Austin. Not sure if that's what you're looking for? I lost mine last spring from RRD but prior to that it had been a healthy rose in my no spray garden. Like most of my Buck's, it survived the freeze/thaw cycle every spring and was one of my earlier roses to bloom. It bloomed well and had a nice fragrance, too. This was not a big rose for me, it stayed well within the spot that I had it. I don't know how well it works for cut flowers because I don't cut mine to bring into the house much. Of all my apricot/orange roses, this was my favorite and I will be replacing it this spring.

Peach Drift and another vote for Tamora. Cream Veranda maybe?

Ooh, and another vote for Floral Fairy Tale; one of the most generous bloomers in the series. Lions Fairy Tale is more of a creamy white, but in a cooler climate it may show more apricot in the centers. Both are very resistant here in our coastal humidity (8A).

Apricot Nectar is simply wonderful but nowhere as generous with its bloom as Tamora or Peach Drift.

My very favorite apricot rose is Sunset Celebration. It has stayed around 3-3.5 ft tall in a pot and produces the most beautiful blooms all spring and summer long.

I got Colette because of Diane's pic too and its been very disease resistant for me so far. Its a tiny band and has done nothing more than sit there (hopefully growing roots). Its had three little precious blooms for me and a few new leaves. But what impresses me is that it has not lost one of its original leaves to disease, not one. That's unheard of in my garden.

I'm a little concerned for it though because if its not growing (hopefully growing roots at least) then maybe its not happy? But I'm giving it time. If by the end of April it doesn't start sending out some new growth I'll pot it up and baby it some more before putting it back in the ground. I regret not letting it get larger before putting it in the ground, but it seems like such a tough little rose, i thought it could handle it. I guess we'll see. Maybe it will :)

Wow! This thread has expanded my wish list so much, haha. Peach is my favorite flower color and I need all of these! That picture of Colette is incredible. Currently I have an Eden on the side of my house, just one year old and still very small. If it doesn't take off in the next few years, I know what I'll replace it with :)

I added Evelyn to my RU order for this spring—couldn't resist, based on the photos and the description of her fragrance, but it was a tough decision! Thank you all so much for your expertise.

SoFL Rose, I had one rose last year that basically stayed the same size all season long as when it first arrived last spring - Johann Strauss. I potted it in a 22" pot thinking I was saving myself some work. Last week I down-potted it hoping it will do something this year. Otherwise... it may hit the chopping block!

Diane, AD has done really well for me in shape and blooms. I hope it does as well or better for you. Those Hollyhocks are so pretty. I see them growing around here and they always put on a good show.

Apricot roses are my favorite. Fragrant Apricot, Sweet Fragrance, Apricot Nectar, Polka, Peach Silk, Carding Mill, Soul Sister [new this year], Enchanted Autumn, Crepuscule, Winter Sunset are some favorites.

Yes, rose crazy, that is Ascot. This is a photo that's a little old (I cheated), and now Ascot is growing into the big shrub to the left (snowball), and, sadly he consumed the lavenders. Thankfully, I have other lavenders growing in other spots. They grow easily here, and a friend gives me her extra volunteer seedlings. It took Ascot two years to take up all the space. Diane

Kentucky_rose, if you have a public rose garden nearby visit it in both spring and fall. You can get a much better picture of what the bushes are like, and how generous they are with their bloom.

If you urgently want roses which bloom season, you'll need to visit in the heat of summer as well. Some roses virtually shut down then.

Many times I've fallen in love with a photo, only to discover that in real life the rose in question rarely produces any blooms like that. Or that the variety changes color, or fades badly, or bloom brown out and hang onto the plant.

I love Jude the Obsure's scent more, but I have to say that Scent-sation has been the hardiest peach for me. Absolutely clean leaves no matter the weather conditions, tons of blooms, and can take shade and heat.

I'm a newbie and don't have any to suggest, but am enamored with Polka, Autumn Sunset, Above All, Colette and Lady Ashe (Dixieland Linda) for climbers. Perle d'Or is also sweet looking as well as Margot Koster which tends towards coral.

Barbara, that is how I'm choosing mine! I went to the Columbus Park of Roses on a 95+deg day and noted what looked healthyl with plenty of blooms (this was past peak bloom time) and had good fragrance. Had I not, I never would have known how beautiful Sugar Moon was nor how fragrant. Many supposedly scented ones lost it completely in the heat. I also learned what it meant that some red roses "blue" and burn in the heat....not attractive! Lastly, I understood that "needs dead-heading" means the spent blooms will look like so much wet toilet paper strewm on the bush and now look for climbers that drop their petals cleanly.
