Way OT: Girls with big butts & hairy legs ...
Comments (24)Paul, Thanks for the lesson. I have handled all my spiders when the chance came up. You have a better chance hurting them than they have you. There fangs can't get thru the thick skin of you hands. Other parts they can, just don't give them a chance. Now I'm talking about household types, not the big tropical ones. Please don't tell me chickens are a live animal?? I thought they grew on tress like where hamburgers come from. Next you'll tell me the Easter bunny doesn't exist. Stush...See MoreOT new addition to the garden
Comments (9)Oh I love your new pup. I lost my beloved Bichon, Koda last year to cancer, so we rescued a Bichon Mix, Mazzy, from a kennel that is deaf and allergic to every thing. Dog food is a prescription to stop the itch. I've taught him hand commands and he's done very well learning them. It has been a challenge but very rewarding at the same time. :o)...See MoreNYIOS new additions to the family
Comments (9)Marci, that's a gorgeous summer spot! Sans sheath...this one doesn't have a sheath either and it's not a unifoliate or a bifoliate...it's a TRIfoliate. Too bad the blooms don't last too long, but it's beauty and fragrance does make it worth while! Bolero, my sister's orchid was stolen when she put it on her porch for some fresh air. She was so heart-broken because it was her first orchid. She even posted "lost" posters of it around her neighborhood. Jane, I went the first day and the show area was nearly empty however the vendor arcade was PACKED! I thought about going back to grab some deals on the last day but then I realized I have no more space left under my lights......See MoreOT: Three legged Millie update with pictures in the garden
Comments (29)Thank you all! I loved reading about your precious kitties, stillanntn. You are so kind and loving. Cath, for some reason I don't have that episode, but I'm watching lots of them through the DVR. Big mistake watching Dr. Pol put down his own dog, Freya. So sad:( Millie is starting on supplements this week for her joints, so you are spot on Sonic and stillanntn. One of the vets will be looking at her soon, as she needs further deforming,( just to be sure, for the 3rd time, as she arrived loaded). She will also be getting some sort of allergy shot to help with her runny nose. Thank you all for your good wishes and kind words. She is a delightful little girl and so filled with joy ALL of the time! Yesterday, she caught(and ate!) a fly in midair. You should have seen the mighty little hunter. It's very hard to keep her calm sometimes. I wish you all could see her! She loves everyone, people, cats, dogs, you name it. They are all treated like dearly loved friends. The vets speculated that she might be a bit "slow" mentally at first, when she was deathly ill. Not so. After just three trips into the garden in three days, she made a quick realization. If momma puts those green Sloggers on, she's going into the garden, and I'm going to do my best to make sure I go along! I wish I could bring her out all the time, but she's so excitable. I don't want her to over do it. Here is a cute picture of Millie in the veggie box right after taking a bite out of an onion stem. Lisa...See Morenikthegreek
