Going into Overload ~ Please help me decide which rose to choose
Comments (7)I'm sorry that was a rather unclear description. By "single" I mean that I am only looking for one rose for that location. Bishop Darlington looks like it fits the bill perfectly - tall, fragrance that carries, repeating, does well in warm climates, perfect for the back of the border. Erf, but it looks like Heirloom doesn't carry it, which is where I was planning to order from with their current free ship deal. I'll have to put it on my wishlist though, as it sounds as though it can be prodded into being a climber, so I may have space for it another time... Any other suggestions?...See MorePlease help me decide on a new washer and dryer set
Comments (4)I absolutely love my Maytag Bravos washer/dryer set. The washer is an HE toploader. I have the best of both worlds -- low water usage, huge capacity (I can wash a king-size comforter and 2-3x the laundry I could wash in my former washer), I can soak clothes (very important to me), the high spin speed spins so well, laundry dries quickly, and I can add clothes as long as the Add A Garment light is on. Because of the huge capacity, I only wash 3-5 loads max per week, whereas I used to wash 7-10 loads per week. This has made an appreciable difference in our utility bills....See MoreCan you please help me choose a rug for my foyer?
Comments (31)Yes, it is rough on the feet. My 10 yr old son complained! I don't think I would put one in a room where you might sit or lie on the floor. I've heard that it softens over time. Will be interesting to see if that happens. Right now I almost always have socks on, but once it warms up I will be barefoot most of the time. I am wondering if I will hate it then. Hope not, because I love the way it looks. At first, my powder room door would drag. But, it was not sitting totally flat due to being rolled up during shipping. Now, it's flat and the door is fine. But, I suspect if your door is real low, it might not work....See MorePlease help me choose a rug shape/size
Comments (7)I was watching a decorating show the other day and they said a rug should always be touched by several pieces of furniture and never be just "floating"... so I'd buy the size rug that would go under more furniture pieces. Are you still thinking of buying from Decorator's Outlet? Check the 80% off rug section.. you might find something you like there and you can save all kinds of $$$. Your office is looking great BTW....See MoreTara
