Over Watered Succulent? How can I Help it Survive?

Courtney DuChene

I’m worried my succulent is overwatered. It is slightly discolored and the bottom leaves feel a bit mushy. I have connected pictures for reference. There is no rot that I can detect and the rots looked healthy when I repotted it yesterday. The stem feels strong. I have not watered it for 2 weeks now, and the upper leaves are starting to stiffen. I removed the unhealthy seeming bottom leaves, but they were reluctant to come off. The plant still seems discolored. I recently had to propagate this plant because my parents accidentally snapped it in half. I really don’t want it to die. I've also noticed a little spot on the stem that I've highlighted. What is that? What can I do?
