How long do Thuja occidentalis cultivars live?

I have read several
times on the net that "under ideal conditions, Thuja occidentalis
'Woodwardii' lives for about 30 years." This surprises me, or is it a case of 'everyone copies everyone else on the net'? Wikipedia
says that specimens of the Thuja occidentalis species live for centuries
(the oldest living specimen is just over 1,100 years old)

I
would have thought that the life expectancy of all Thuja
occidentalis
cultivars is measured in centuries, not in decades. Thoughts?
