I've never been to a trade. I mostly raise herbs and edibles (grapes, currants, berries, unusuals) and am interested in possibly attending this trade. I didn't make it to any of the markets this year although I'm gearing up for next year already so I have tons of plants. Please fill me in on the details for this trade (location, time, date, etc.) Thanks!

Good for you for getting your stock organized. I actually love my small pantry and I like to keep it organized. I do need to get into the home canned jars and see if any of them need to be tossed. I stock up to like Nicole and I am a budget, thrifty shopper. Cathy from Idaho mentioned couponing a few days back and I decided to drag out my coupon box and start using it again. I did a little research and found out how to really do the coupon thing to your advantage. Oh and I saw that couponing show.....how sad that those people do that....How can anyone use 300 toothbrushes or like you said soda......I've had soda taste bad in just a matter of a few months.....The point is to buy exactly what you know you will use and stock up. I love having a stash and I always have paper products and cleaning supplies as well as food...Our Albertson's has great buys of meat for loss leaders and I take advantage.........

I also was married the day before Mother's Day (15 yrs ago next May.) At the time it seemed like a lovely way to honor our mothers. I wound up having a newborn by the time the next Mother's Day rolled around, and in retrospect wondered if I'd committed a terrible faux pas. But no one complained at the time, we had no trouble with florists or other vendors, and as far as I could tell everyone had a great time. My mother died less than 2 yrs later, and it seems comforting that her final two Mother's Days were spent at her only daughter's wedding (which she loved planning) and then with her first grandchild. Moral of the story for the OP -- go with whichever date works best for you and those closest to you, the universe will make it all right.
